This Privacy Policy describes how Looppl Technology Inc. (“Looppl,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, maintains, and shares information from users (“you”) of the Looppl websites, web/mobile apps, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, including participating in contests, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Privacy Policy and its data collection practices described herein.

You represent that you are at least 18 years of age. Looppl does not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18. If we become aware that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will promptly delete such information.

Looppl may update this Privacy Policy at any time. We will provide at least seven (7) days’ notice before any material changes take effect, either by email to registered users or via a prominent notice on the Service.

Data and Information We Collect

Looppl collects personal data and information that you provide directly, as well as information generated through your use of the Service. Data and information may include the following:

1. Account Information

• Email address, phone number, username, account settings, and Account ID.
• Information from third-party services used for verification or authentication.

2. Business Account and Verification Information

• Registered business name, operating name, email address, phone number, physical address, profile picture, license number, account settings, and contest participation data.
• Information necessary to verify eligibility for contests, promotions, or referrals.

3. Device and Activity Data

• Device identifiers, model, operating system, network, IP address, language, country, and other metadata.
• Activity within the Service, including QR code scans, referrals, contest entries, and other interactions.

4. Mail-in Entry Data

• Personal information submitted for mail-in contest entries, including full name, mailing address, and email address or phone number.
• Used solely for contest administration, verifying eligibility, processing entries, and contacting winners. Mail-in entries will not be returned.

5. Demographic Data

• Date of birth and other demographic information to determine age-based eligibility, birthday promotions, or access to age-restricted services.

6. Location Data

• Approximate location data when scanning QR codes, submitting referrals, or entering contests.
• Location data is collected only while interacting with the Service, not in the background.

7. Activity and Transaction Information

• Data regarding your use of the Service, including contest entries, referrals, QR code scans, and engagement with other users.
• Usernames or Account IDs may be associated when sharing activity with others on the Service.

8. Account Profile and User-Generated Content

• Profiles include username, messages, pictures, contest participation, and user-generated content.
• Sharing activity to external social media accounts is subject to those platforms’ privacy policies.

9. Cookies

• Session cookies are used to maintain login status and personalize the Service.
• Disabling cookies may limit access to certain features.

10. Mobile Software Analytics

• Anonymous data about app usage, contest activity, performance, and downloads.

How We Use Your Data and Information

To operate, administer, and improve the Service, Looppl may process your data and information for the following purposes:

1. To Provide the Service:

• Creating and updating user and business accounts.
• Registering and shipping QR code sticker rolls to participating businesses.
• Enabling contest participation, referrals, interactive features, and personalized experiences.
• Using location data to display nearby participating businesses.
• Sending notifications of contests, promotions, or recommended activities.
• Processing payments for prize delivery or business participation fees.
• Investigating and preventing suspected fraud or contest manipulation.
• Resolving disputes between users and businesses or contest administrators.

2. Security and Service Standards:

• Validating contest eligibility, user and business accounts, and compliance with rules.
• Detecting, preventing, and investigating fraud, unusual activity, or manipulation.
• Handling reports of participating businesses failing to honor contest rules or obligations.

3. Customer Support:

• Responding to user inquiries, complaints, and contest-related questions.
• Improving support processes.

4. Research and Development:

• Conducting analysis, testing, and feature development with third-party vendors.
• Improving contest fairness, Service performance, and creating new features.

5. Referrals:

• Marketing Looppl and participating business services using activity data.
• Measuring referral program effectiveness and providing aggregate data to participating businesses.

6. Communications:

• Sending essential Service messages, contest notifications, referral updates, and promotional announcements.

7. Anonymous Data:

• Analyzing anonymized or de-identified data for service improvement and contest analytics.

Your Data and Information Rights

Looppl respects the rights of users regarding their personal data. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may:

1. Access or update your account and profile information.

2. Inquire about the data Looppl holds or shares with third parties.

3. Request correction or deletion of personal data, subject to legal obligations and contest requirements.

4. Limit the use of your data.

5. Opt out of push notifications.

6. Not be discriminated against for exercising your data rights.

7. Request data export where feasible.

8. Withdraw consent previously provided.

9. Delete your Looppl account, subject to active contest or legal retention obligations.

Requests may be refused if identity cannot be verified, rights of third parties may be impacted, or Service operation would be disrupted. Privacy requests should be sent to privacy@looppl.com

Retention and Protection of Your Data and Information

Looppl retains the personal data and information collected from users only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including contest administration, prize fulfillment, fraud detection, auditing, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.

Digital contest entries, such as QR code scans, referrals, and account activity, are retained for the duration of the applicable contest period and for a reasonable period thereafter. During this time, Looppl may use such data to verify eligibility, detect and prevent fraud, and ensure proper prize distribution. Where feasible, data may later be anonymized or aggregated for analytical or service improvement purposes and retained indefinitely.

Physical mail-in entries are securely stored for the contest period and any legally required retention periods, after which they are destroyed in accordance with Looppl’s data disposal practices. Mail-in entries will not be returned under any circumstances.

Looppl implements industry-standard technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Certain information may be retained for longer periods to satisfy legal obligations, resolve ongoing disputes, or maintain anonymized datasets, even after a user deletes their account.

Links to Third-Party Websites and Services

The Looppl Service may contain links to third-party websites, advertisements, and service providers, including those used for prize fulfillment or payment processing. Looppl does not control these third-party services and is not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

When you interact with such third parties, including providing personal or financial information, your data is subject to the privacy policies and terms of those third parties. Users are encouraged to review these policies carefully before submitting any information. While Looppl may monitor or review third-party content, any personal data submitted to such external services is beyond Looppl’s control.

Data Transfer and Supplemental Requirements

Looppl is based in Canada, and the information collected from users—including contest entries, QR scans, referrals, and other account activity—may be processed and stored within Canada.

By accessing or using the Service, including participating in contests, you consent to the collection, transfer, and storage of your personal data in Canada. Looppl complies with applicable Canadian privacy laws and regulations, and where local laws differ, legal obligations will supersede this Privacy Policy.

Even if you access the Service from outside Canada, your data may be processed in Canada for the purposes described herein, including contest administration, fraud prevention, and Service improvement.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

Looppl may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Updated versions will be posted at least seven (7) days before they become effective. Continued use of the Service or participation in contests constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Your Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using Looppl, including participating in contests, you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service or participate in contests.
